Who can ask
- A business owner using Botsmith, for your own account and everything in it.
- A customer of a business that uses Botsmith, for the messages and details you gave that business.
Three ways to request
- Send DELETE MY DATA to the bot you have been chatting with. This is the fastest route because your number is already verified.
- Use the form at the bottom of this page.
- Email support@botsmith.in from the address on the account.
What gets deleted
- Your messages and conversation history.
- Your contact record: number, name, tags and notes.
- Media you sent — photographs, documents, voice notes.
- Bot configuration, catalogue and versions, for an owner deleting an account.
- Analytics events tied to you.
What we must keep, and why

How long it takes
We confirm within 24 hours and complete verified requests within 30 days. If a request is genuinely complex we may take up to 60 days more, and we will tell you why within the first 30 days.
If we cannot verify that the request came from the number it concerns, we will ask you to confirm from that number in WhatsApp. We would rather ask than delete the wrong person’s data.
