The service
Botsmith lets you build, run and change a WhatsApp bot for your business from a WhatsApp chat. You describe your business, we turn it into a working bot, and you edit it by asking.
Who may use it
- You must be 18 or older and able to enter a contract.
- You must be using it for a real business.
- You must be permitted to use WhatsApp under Meta’s own terms.
- You must not be barred from receiving our services under any applicable law.
Your WhatsApp account is yours
You connect your own WhatsApp Business Account. You are responsible for what your bot sends, for keeping your Meta account in good standing, and for the accuracy of the prices, hours and policies you give us.
You must follow Meta’s WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and our acceptable use policy. If Meta restricts or bans your number, we cannot lift that — it is between you and Meta.
Fees, taxes and Meta’s charges
- Our subscription fees are shown on the pricing page and charged in advance.
- Indian GST applies at the prevailing rate. Our GSTIN is 19AAXCA0822C1ZQ.
- Meta charges you separately for conversations, at Meta’s published rates. Those charges are not ours, we never mark them up, and we cannot refund them.
- We may change subscription pricing with 30 days’ notice. Your current period is unaffected.
Your content and ours
You keep ownership of everything you give us — your business information, your media, your bot configuration and your customer data. You grant us only the licence needed to run the service for you.
We keep ownership of Botsmith itself: the software, the interface and the underlying models and prompts. You may not copy, resell or reverse-engineer it.
Availability
We aim for 99.9% monthly availability of message handling, and we will tell you about planned maintenance in advance. We depend on WhatsApp; if Meta’s platform is down, your bot is down, and that is outside our control.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in that period. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data or business interruption.
Ending the agreement
You may cancel at any time — see the cancellation policy. We may suspend or end your account if you breach these terms or the acceptable use policy, or if we are required to by law. Where it is safe and lawful, we will warn you first.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Kolkata, West Bengal have exclusive jurisdiction.
