No. Botsmith runs inside WhatsApp. You message our number, answer a few questions, and your bot is built in that thread. There is no app to download and no dashboard to log into.

Most businesses publish in under 20 minutes, including Meta's connection step. If your menu or price list is a clean photo or PDF, the catalogue part takes about two minutes.

Only if it is not currently registered on the WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app. Meta requires a number that is free to move onto the WhatsApp Business Platform, so most businesses use a second SIM or a landline they can receive a verification call on.

Type it in the chat instead. You can also start with a handful of items and add the rest later by sending a photo whenever you have one.

It answers about your business and declines everything else. It will not give medical, legal or financial advice, invent prices, or promise anything you have not told it. Anything it cannot answer comes to you with a one-tap way to add the answer.

Always. Every bot has a "Talk to us" option that hands the conversation to you, and you can take over any conversation at any time.

The bot says when you open rather than going silent, and still takes orders or booking requests if you have allowed that. You decide per module.

Say it in plain words — "add ₹20 delivery under 2 km", "we are closed on Tuesday", "remove the cold coffee". Botsmith shows you exactly what will change and applies it when you tap Apply. "Undo last change" is always available, and you can roll back to any earlier version.

English at launch. More languages are on the roadmap, and adding one is a configuration change rather than a rebuild — but we would rather ship one language that works properly than several that half do.

Yes. You add a payment method — a UPI AutoPay mandate or a card — when you sign up, and nothing is charged for 14 days. The trial has everything Growth includes. Cancel during the trial and you pay nothing.

Meta does, directly. Your card sits on your own WhatsApp Business Account and Meta bills you at their published rates for the conversation categories you use. Botsmith adds nothing on top, on every plan. Rates vary by country and Meta changes them, so we link their rate card rather than quote it.

No setup fee and no lock-in. Monthly plans can be cancelled any time and run to the end of the paid period. Setup help is available as a paid service if you want it — it is never required.

Yes. There is a 30-day money-back guarantee on your first payment. Within the first 7 days, if you have not published a bot yet, we refund the unused part of any plan pro rata.

Bots keep running through a 7-day grace period and we tell you in chat. After that the bot pauses — it stops answering customers, but nothing is deleted. Pay and it resumes exactly as it was.

You do. If you leave Botsmith you keep the number, the account, and your customer history. We do not hold your account hostage.

We process them to run your bot — understanding a request, taking an order, answering a question — and to give you your reports. We do not sell data and we do not use your customers’ personal messages to train third-party models. The privacy policy sets out the detail.

Yes. Use the data deletion page or type DELETE MY DATA in the chat. Your customers can ask too, and we act on it within 30 days.
